Elana Wolpa supports Pivot’s work across the California Curriculum Collaborative, Networks, and Design initiatives. Elana has extensive project management and education experience from her time spent at the Center for Wellness and Achievement in Education, a meditation and Social-Emotional Learning based education non-profit in the Bay Area. There, Elana developed and managed in-school programs supporting inner-city schools and underserved youth in their personal wellness and academic success through one-on-one support, classroom lessons, and school-wide initiatives. Most recently, Elana gained further program coordination experience while at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Her main interests are mental and emotional health, educational and social justice, and closing the opportunity gap for underrepresented youth. Elana is a Southern California native and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from UC Davis. In her free time, she enjoys adventuring outdoors, immersing herself in the music and comedy scenes in San Francisco, and spending time with friends and family.
