Director, Development & External Relations

Morgan brings over a dozen years of experience in the education reform sector. Morgan has a blend of experience that spans fundraising and administration, consulting to schools and districts, and developing in-school programs.

Morgan comes to Pivot from Selling Energy, a small sales training company, where as Director of Content Development and Delivery she was responsible for developing new educational products for a range of clients, technical writing, and grant development.

Previously, she worked in several capacities at NAF, including development, where she was responsible for a portfolio of major funders; and programs, where she provided technical support to schools and districts. Morgan focused on major institutional funders and innovative corporate relationships, combining volunteerism with financial support.

In New York City, Morgan helped to start a small school themed around the urban environment, where she developed all community-based programs, as well as ensured that the needs of grant funders were met.

Morgan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Smith College, and began her career designing and implementing learning experiences for young people aboard tall ships.
