Samantha has multiple administrative support roles at Pivot which span supporting our program and executive teams, as well as managing the office. She enjoys using her skills to “connect the dots” and help her team complete the big picture of giving every child a chance at a better education. 

Prior to Pivot, Samantha worked as a Facility Coordinator for Microsoft at their San Francisco office. She has also worked in the hospitality sector, at renowned 5-star hotel chains like The Oberoi, Le Meridien, Hilton and Westin in India. She was responsible for streamlining processes to improve team work and in turn enhance customer satisfaction in these hotel chains. Samantha began her career at an American military base in Bahrain where she was responsible for coordinating travel arrangements for service members both on and off duty.

She had also volunteered her time as administrative coordinator at WOMAN Inc. (Women Organized to Make Abuse Non- existent), in San Francisco. She had earlier worked with the not-for-profit, Reality Gives, helping them create and translate lesson plans to English for children and teenagers residing in the slum areas of Dharavi in Mumbai, India.

Away from work her passion is to create felt toys for children and giveaways for special occasions.

She has a bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Nicosia, Cyprus.
